We offer one week of studies focused on standards in e-commerce.
Standardized concepts for catalogs, for transactions and for the classification of commodities are the backbone of e-commerce.
We will study existing concepts like BMEcat for catalogs, OPENtrans for transactions and eCl@ss and UNSPSC for the classification of commodities.
We will also work on future concepts. The faculty is involved in the harmonization of classes and properties in eCl@ss to prepare future levels of the classifications system.
An excursion to sites dealing with future stores and future supply chain management will be included in this seminar.
